Polypropylene Underwear is the ultimate high endurance thermal underwear fabric. No other material dries as fast as polypro. As you sweat, the polypropylene fabric pulls the sweat from your body and quickly spreads it accross the material allowing moisture to be transported away from your skin. The polypro then dries quickly so you don't stay cold and wet. Polypropylene also retains more heat than any other fabric so you stay nice and warm. Our expedition weight polypropylene is manufactured by a government contractor who produces it for the Armed Forces. Also known as Double Layer Polypropylene, this garment is part of the ECWCS(Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) for US Troops. It has a super soft polypro fleece inside that feels so nice against the skin. The outer layer is smoothe to reduce piling that is common to fleece fabrics.
